Donner was an excellent Police K9 from an exceptional litter which produced 4 great Police Service Dogs (Donner / Deiter / Derek /Duke). As a sire Donner produced exceptional PSD’s (read newspaper articles below). Used for breeding in Seattle’s Police Dog breeding program during the 1990’s, currently his genetics (frozen semen) is in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) & Sapphire Shepherds breeding program.
Donner had good character, was safe to be around his handler's family - children, animals and had good health living into his 12th yr. His work ethic and tracking ability have been praised by numerous people (including Ret. Ofc. Steve White K9 handler/trainer/training-sergeant/supervisor for the Seattle Police K9 Unit/Accredited Master Trainer who makes mention of Donners exceptional ability in his training videos). Donner’s littermates and offspring were also praised for being exceptional 
tracking & working dogs receiving (documented) awards of recognition for their heroism & uncommon valor during their working career.

Breeder of the “D” litter Teri with dam (call name Angie) & her 4 sons, all Police Service K9’s (Donner on far right with 1st handler Jon Emerik. Jon, later paired with Donner’s brother Deiter passed in 2019, his eulogy speaks of his fine 22-year tenure in the Seattle K9 Unit as a handler/trainer and the stellar team he & Deiter were receiving awards for their work together.
