Tom z Ps comes from the world famous Czech Police breeding kennel the Pohranicni straze. Through the age of 8 years, Tom was an active Police dog in the Czech Republic with his handler Mr. Soulc. A dark male, he carries a large build and a height of 66cm. Used for breeding many times, as of May 2002 Tom produced 227 pups, several of which come from the z Pohranicni straze kennel and are working Police dogs. In the town of Bruntal in the north of Czech, Tom has 6 offspring all working as Police dogs. Tom exhibits balanced character, strong nerves, and hardness in real life situations with his K9 handler. He has no problem with attack work in training or on the street. Because of Tom’s balanced temperament he has been used in many different breeding programs with success. His offspring are known for their natural aggression, high willingness to work, strong retrieve drive and wanted dark color.
   Tom is out of old Czech bloodlines. His father Cordon An-Sat was one of the greatest producers of Police dogs in Czech. On his mothers side you will find great dogs such as Held v. Ritterberg and Iowa v.d. Buschecke, and Bojar v Shotterhof who were brought from the old DDR to the Pohranicni straze for breeding. Famous for producing excellent structural soundness and strong balanced character type. Even the most famous female Klara z Pohranicni straze is in his pedigree. Klara is well known as one of the best producing bitches of Police dogs at the Pohranicni straze kennel. To add to his credentials, Tom was the crown winner of the 1999 International Stud Dog Show in Bratislava, Slovakia. This is the largest working stud dog show in Europe.
   We are very fortunate to have one of Tom’ fine sons (ROCKY) and daughter (BRTA) within our select breeding program, producing offspring with the wonderful enthusiasm and desire of work that is so well known within the Czech Border Patrol bloodlines.
