 Shasta is a medium sized male with strong bones
and head. He has very dark pigment and very
high trainability. Dave is currently in
training with Shasta toward titling in SchH. We expect this dog to go far
in whatever direction Dave takes him and hope to bring him, along with his
fathers and mothers genetics back into our breeding program. Shasta is a
true example of what is produced from the 5 time Rocky/Petra breeding. He has been evaluated by top trainers and experienced K9 handlers of both Sport and Law Enforcement dogs with
high praise. He is a dog that demonstrates very strong retrieve and
prey drive. He is very territorial with a natural aggression level
that is very high. At 17 months of age, he exhibits
"full calm
bites with an attitude of a 2-3 year old dog".
"He
has a clear head, with jumps toward the helper that are described as
explosive". His tracking
ability is "extremely strong, demonstrating a
deep nose with calmness and complete concentration". He is a dog with sound nerves and should produce pups
with very high trainability for use in Law Enforcement and top Sport.
