 Santo is being prepared for
our working dog breeding program. He is a large,
imposing male with strong bones, considerable head and dark sable color. He catches attention with his presence and character.
He is typical of the breeding of Rocky and Oresta which has produced
many excellent working dogs for our program that have been very healthy with no hip or
elbow dysplasia reported to date.
Through his father Rocky, he is of the 2nd bloodline founded by HETTEL
Uckermark over the renown branch of GREIF v. Felsenstein,

AJO Ja-Kra, CAR pod Molnosskou banou, CORDON An Sat, TOM z Pohranicni straze.
Santo has these excellent producing dogs within his fathers pedigree: IWO
von der Buschecke, DRAGO z Humnan, CIR z Vrtovske doliny, AXA z Huckelovy
vily, KASO z Pohranicni straze, CLIFF von der Mohnequelle, AXA z Blatenskeho
zamku, and HOBBY Venusina Sopka.
From his mothers side he belongs to the 5th bloodline founded by Rolf v.
Osnabrucker Land. Oresta also brings in the very precious blood of
former DDR dog - BERRY Christelas through Gero v Markersdorf. Other
important ancestors: INGO von Rudingen, Viktor von der Edelquelle,
Bojar vom Schotterhof, TREU von Schaferstolz,
As to his overall working ability, it is
excellent. Santo has very high ball and prey
drive and at the same time he is naturally suspicious of st rangers.
He has properly developed defense drive and also has considerable retrieve
drive. His natural aggression level is very high, as typical of Rocky
offspring, with bite work that has full hard, calm grips. He is a
strong tracker and has strong hunt drive.
Santo has excellent
willingness to work with his handler.
As of August 2007, Santo has been Narcotics certified through the Untied States Forest Service and tested
under Patrol Captain Dale A. Brandebery, for Narcotics Detection which include the
odors of LSD, Cocaine, Heroin, and Meth. Santo has also been certified in
Cadaver Level 1. He has been trained and handled for cadaver by Ramona
Helmer and was tested under Tri-State guidelines. He is now training in protection.
We expect Santo will produce healthy, darkly pigmented dogs with strong
bones, heads and nerves for Law Enforcement
work, SAR and high energy level for top Sport.
