Petra is an extremely elegant strong boned female with a beautiful DDR head type and an excellent conformation rating. Petra is a typical daughter of Gero z Blatenskeho Zamku. Gero was the top producing Stud Dog for The World Renown Czech Border Patrol in Czechoslovakia, famous for imparting his offspring with great hardness and courage. Petra's bloodlines are excellent. Through her father she is of the bloodline founded by Utz v. Haus Schutting, including many top producers of working dogs: Kass v Furstendamm, Klara z Pohranicni straze, Jaso z Pohranicni straze, Netka z Pohranicni straze, Majka z Blatenskeho Zamku and Bojar v. Shotterhof. Petra’s dam Ajika z Jirkove Dvora was a primary breeding female for the famous z Jirkova Dvora kennel. Bred to Gero z Blatenskeho Zamku, this cross became a proven top breeding combination that was used consistently as it produced very strong working offspring. This match was designed by the head of genetics for the z Pohranicni straze kennel. The pedigree behind Petra is an excellent example of out crossing, incorporating a percentage of West German bloodline into this pedigree resulted in bringing balance and diversity to a very intense group of Czech and DDR dogs. It also improved upon beauty and structure. This bloodline goes back to perhaps the most important dam in modern times Palme v Wildsteiger Land and includes other dogs such as Fedor v. Arminius, and Ux v. Kirschental.

Petra shows good natural suspicion of strangers, has considerable defense and civil drive. She is breed surveyed: Pronounced Courage and Hardness. She has strong prey & retrieve drive and is strong in all three phases of work. Petra possesses solid social behavior, she is good with our children and is a joyful member of our family. Her protection work and tracking skills are true to her father, they are excellent! Petra has produced many pups for our program with very minimal health problems! Petra's pups have strong bones, heads, nerves and dark pigment. Owners report very balanced drives, clear-in-the-head, dominate dogs. They show early prey and retrieve drive, strong tracking abilities and a high level of natural aggression well suited for police and service areas of work. Petra has proven herself to be an excellent foundation female. She always produces large litters of active, vital pups! Her offspring have proven themselves as excellent working dogs in a number of demanding and different fields. We have had requests for Petra's offspring worldwide, placing pups in the middle east for Police/Military work and throughout the United States in a variety of homes ranging from: Search & Rescue, Herding, SchH (National level), Select Working Dog Breeding Programs, Family Protection / Companions. And, the finest accolade that a brood bitch can receive: Her son CZAR of Sapphire Mountain has had the honor of having the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police Dog Breeding Program) amoung the Clients of his collected semen. We have been very fortunate to have her bloodlines within our breeding program. She is a true foundation female and a top representative for the German Shepherd Breed.
