Hi there! I Just wanted to give a long overdue
update on Kaia (the female puppy) from the Oresta/Rocky litter. She is
doing wonderful! Such a confiden
t and very intelligent puppy! This is
the first puppy that I have totally relied on the "clicker training" in
obedience, and it is amazing how well she is doing! Most exercises, she
learns within a few minutes and retains them! She is already, at 10
weeks, healing several steps with total focus, sitting, platzing,
and watching me under distraction! Her natural
tracking abilities are very developed for her age, and she already shows
very nice protect
ion instincts as well! Our House sits back from
the road and is fenced with a gate at the driveway. I have been amazed
at how she will run towards the gate barking at any joggers, especially
at such a young age! Her grips are very full and calm!
I received her papers this week! Thanks, I will get them off and will return the Puppy contract as well!

Sorry that it has been awhile since I have given you an update on Kaia.
I have been extremely busy traveling back and forth to the lake house
and training dogs! We just finished up a 4 day seminar with Dave
Kroyer this w
eekend and I took Kaia. She is absolutely an amazing
puppy. Her Schutzhund potential seems amazing. Everyone
LOVED her!! It is always a gamble, as you know, when purchasing a
puppy.........This gamble definitely paid off, and I am very grateful
for the quality of this puppy!!!(Now we just need to keep our fingers
crossed for great hips and elbows :)
I have included a few pictures taken this weekend at the seminar. One
is of Kaia as she just finis
hed doing a little tug work and was laying
down possessing HER prey with her paw. It is such an elegant picture
of her. The other one was of her "sneaking" in and stealing a schutzhund 2 dumbbell while Dave was talking to someone. The other
picture is of her running around the field with the dumbbell in her
mouth! This dog wants to work!!!!

Hi there! Kaia is doing excellent!!! I had her hips and elbows
prelimed about a week ago and everything looks great! This was such
a huge relief because she is perfect in every other way!! Her
Schutzhund training is coming along great. She is healing with
very intense focus and has such beautiful movement. She has turned
out to be a very stunning dog. H
er natural fight drive is very
advanced for her age.....so I am taking it easy in protection and
letting her be a puppy right now.......I have no doubt that when we
get serious with protection, it is going to be very intense. Her
natural tracking abilities are very advanced as well. Whatever
"magic formula" you added to this breeding, keep it up!! I will take
some pictures this week of her working and send them to you.
