Balli was a truly great dog with a very successful working and producing career renown worldwide. He had very strong and balanced working drives, clear head and numerous successful working offspring produced around the globe for various world class working kennels, Police, Military (Israeli), SVV/ZVV/SchH/IPO and family. Balli was a perfect stud dog, capable of everyday training. He had valuable, balanced character, absolute solid nerves and he performed all the disciplines with full assignment. Balli had good health, longevity and lived an active long life, 7-10-1996 - 6-15-2010.
Balli’s pedigree represents the ultimate collection of top working lines, primarily the line of Ingo von Rudingen originating in former East Germany.
Balli carries the prized blood of v. Kirschental kennel, renown for producing dogs used by shepherds for guiding and protecting flocks of sheep. And Balli also carries old Czech & Slovakian bloodlines represented in the majority of dogs who regularly participated in the German Shepherd World Championships (WUS from these two countries. Among the many successes of these lines, it is worthy to note 2 of Balli’s half-brothers placed as the most successful competitors in the NAPD/National Assoc. of Police Dogs.
